The Tutela collection, Protection through the medium of Silver.

‘Tutela’ translates as Protection in Latin.
This collection was inspired by several great ancient Forts that I visited. The Forts lead me to think about why humans feel the need to build such huge structures to protect themselves. The concept of protection is realised in wearable jewellery. Experimenting with sharp and spiky pieces which I wanted to look like a form of armour.

Moving forward Heather has been developing her new collection made from Fairtrade gold and 9crt gold rings with recycled gemstones to create wearable items that connect to the wearers personal energy and style. Bespoke commissions welcomed.
